Yorkshire Fur Fabrics' main strength is its manufacturing capability. The entire process is performed in our plant in Huddersfield, from the blending of the fibre to the packaging of the finished items, which means that there is total control over the quality of the end product.

We are able to manufacture to the customer's individual specifications which means that we are able to make fabrics for industrial applications as well as the more traditional fashion and soft furnishing sectors.

We have a total of three blending lines, each comprising two opening machines and a selection of blending bins. This allows us to blend different fibres with different staple lengths and different shades to create a uniform consistency from sometimes very different component fibres.

This allows us to produce fabrics with a wide range of densities from 300g to 2kg per linear metre. The jacquard machines are the very latest technology and can knit a full range of fashion and industrial fabrics with up to 8 colours per design.
